.pdf - Adobe Acrobat 9 - PDF files

.psd, .tif. .eps, .jpg - Adobe Photoshop CS4 - Bitmapped images, for instance PSD, TIFF, EPS, JPEG

.ai, .eps Adobe Illustrator CS4 - Vector graphics, AI, EPS

.indd - Adobe InDesign CS4 - Layout design files

.qxd - QuarkXPress 8.12 - Layout design files

 

Printing Checklist

Fonts
Use standard fonts (ie., Times, Arial, Helvetica) whenever possible or package your file with necessary fonts.
You can also convert text to curves or outlines whenever applicable.
To create outlines In Illustrator, select all text and choose Create Outlines under the Text menu.

Resolution
150-300dpi is best for large format printing

Bleeds
Extend page content 0.125" on all sides in your document

Colour Mode: CMYK

Please do not forget to include all fonts and linked images.
